We’ve moved the office to the nice rural industrial hamlet of Boxted Farm near Hemel Hempstead. 

The new office is need of some organising. One of the first things on the list was to put up a Chrome X Pole.

Then on to sort out pole dance corner.

This is a pole dancing mat I had made specially a few years ago. Without wanting to appear as a pole dancing mat geek, it is very high quality.

The foam is very dense, it always springs back to its original form. The vinyl is high quality and was hand stiched in Kentish Town. It’s made in 2 pieces which are velcroed together around the pole. I forget now how much it cost but it was close on £200 plus VAT to make.

The price could have been cut by producing batches, using cheaper foam and vinyl, using vinyl on one side etc, but as  X Pole are marketing these neat fold up ones made by Romanian orphans (joke, I think) for £69.95 inc VAT it would be hard to compete. If you want to pay big bucks for a very high quality pole dance mat where you can specify the quality of foam used and the colour of vinyl go down to your local foam and upholstery place and explain what you want.
